Hi, I'm Shay,
I'm a designer based in Cape Town, South Africa. I help turn ideas into something people can see, understand and connect with. Whether it's a brand identity, publication or digital experience, every project starts by understanding the intention behind it.
I don't believe my job is to come up with the idea for you. Most people already know what they want to say; they just haven't found the right way to say it yet. My role is to listen, ask the right questions, and translate that into a visual language that feels honest to them.
Over the past decade, I've worked with agencies, start-ups and established businesses across branding, editorial and digital design. The medium changes from project to project. The process doesn't.
